Minnesota Wild Forward Lines: What I’d Do vs. What I Think Happens
For the first time since Kirill Kaprizov’s rookie season in 2020-21, the Minnesota Wild will embark on a future where Kaprizov and Mats Zuccarello aren’t stapled together on the top line. The duo has been attached at the hip ever since…
I’m Betting the House on the Timberwolves After Watching the Rudy Gobert Video of Their France Trip
Have you ever been to a bachelor party for one of the guys (or girls) in your main friend group? The group usually consists of all the other guys in your friend group, plus some outsiders connected to the bachelor. Could be a future brother-in-law,…
The Pohlads are “beloved” according to Matt Vasgersian
Last night the Twins put out an absolute stinker against the Phillies in the annual Field of Dreams game. Outside of an early Luke Keaschall home run, there wasn’t much to cheer for or be interested in as a Twins fan. Until Matt Vasgersian hit the…
KOC Should Be On The Hot Seat Going Into Year 5
I like Kevin O’Connell. I think he is a decent to pretty good head coach and I don’t think the Vikings should have any regrets yet for hiring him after letting Mike Zimmer go in 2021. There have been more good moments than bad moments during…
I Miss Seeing A Sold Out Target Field
In what was news to me (see video below) Noah Kahan was here on Wednesday in what was apparently the concert of the summer here in the Twin Cities. Then the Twin Cities got banana fever this weekend as the Savannah Bananas took over Target Field…
The Lynx Break Their 10 Game Winning Streak And Cheryl Reeve Goes Scorched Earth Afterwards
This is one of the oldest tricks in the book if you ask me. The Lynx have been dominating the WNBA this season. Olivia Miles is only a rookie and already is in the MVP discussion. Now they have Napheesa Collier back and went on a 10 game win streak…
Kaelen Culpepper Homers In First MLB Game
Welcome to the big leagues Kaelen Culpepper! The 2024 1st round pick and #2 rated prospect in the Twins farm system homered in his second ever MLB at-bat tonight in Milwaukee. Culpepper hit an 0-2 pitch over the left-center field wall off Brewers pitcher…
What is Purdue’s new AD doing??
Let me get this right, Tommy McClelland is saying don’t go to Indiana if you want to win National Championships? Don’t go to the school that just went 16-0, won the National Championship by beating the likes of Ohio State, Alabama, Oregon,…
I’m Not Worried About The Quinn Hughes Extension
Billy Guerin went on Judd’s Hockey Show via SKOR North yesterday and provided a quote that raised some eyebrows and created worry among Minnesota Wild fans: Does anyone else have deja vu from last year during the Krill Kaprizov extension talks? If…
Bravo, Minnesota Twins
I have been a cynic of the Minnesota Twins ever since they cut payroll after the 2023 playoffs. I still can’t believe the Pohlads made that decision after seeing how electric Target Field was, and how alive the fan base was after beating the Blue…
